Room #17 at this inn is said to be haunted by Charles "Chick" McGee, a man who was found dead after being stabbed in the late 1980's by a waitress who was angry with him for not leaving her a tip. His ghost is said to move the Bible from the drawer, hides the television remote and messes with the tiny bottles of shampoo.

This restaurant is located on Lake Nepessing and is housed inside a building that was once a hotel, and several other businesses. Witnesses have reported a man's apparition walking off the dock into the lake and a ghostly woman near the lighthouse. This restaurant was formerly a hotel. It was built when railroads first came to Fenton in 1856. It has gone through many ownerships and has converted to a white tableclothed fine dining restaurant in 1997 when Nick and Peggy Sorise purchased. When it turned 150 years old in 2006, the Sorises' officially changed the name of Fenton Hotel to Fenton Hotel Tavern & Grille.
