What's new at The Edson Incident for 2025? Do you have any new rides, attractions, or special features that Haunt Seekers should know about?

We have made some enhancements and added a new room!

What are you most excited about for the 2025 Halloween Season?

As always, we are excited to see all the victims having a good time on the way to their demise!

What differentiates The Edson Incident from other local haunts in Michigan?

The main difference is we are aboard one of only two remaining Forrest Sherman Navy Destroyers in existence!

How long has The Edson Incident been in business? Can you tell us a bit more about The Edson Incident's history?

This is our 10th season! The Edson Incident was created to help raise funds for the restoration and preservation of the USS Edson. I has become the Ship's biggest fund raiser thanks to all of the amazing individuals who sacrifice themselves during the season!

What's your favorite experience since opening The Edson Incident?

The sense of accomplishment when you see the people that make it through come off the ship having a good time and enjoying the Edson Incident.

How long is a typical haunt experience at The Edson Incident from start to finish?

As with every attraction, it depends on how fast they are running. Typically a good 25 to 30 minutes.

On a scale from 1 to 10, how scary would you say The Edson Incident is? Why?

On my personal level I'd say a solid 7 to 8. We don't rely on animatronics for a scare. It's all about the actors!

Does The Edson Incident's property have any real haunted history? Do you have a spooky encounter you'd like to share?

Too many ghost stories to tell. There are even stories going back to when the USS Edson was in service.

What inspired you to open up a haunted attraction? What's your favorite part of the business?

To help fund the restoration and preservation of the USS Edson. My favorite part is interacting with the victims. I love hearing their Haunt stories, and learning new things about what scares people.

How has new technology (i.e. animatronics, special props, etc) helped you to enhance The Edson Incident?

Not a lot. We're a little step back in time. We use it for certain effects, but we really rely on our actors.

Can The Edson Incident accommodate large groups? How many people can experience The Edson Incident together as a group?

We can accommodate large groups. We let the ticket holders make the call. They paid for the ticket so we figure they should decide how they go through. They can go all at once, or split into smaller groups.

Does The Edson Incident offer any special deals, discounts, or coupons?

We do offer early season pricing.
Military, and First Responders discounts.
There are also group rates for groups of 15 and over.
