Bogan Lane Inn
Mackinac Island, MI 49757
Buit in the mid-1850s as a family home, it was left vacant for a period of 40 years. In 1957, a heating system and bathrooms were installed. Today it stands as an inn and is haunted. Staff and visitors claim to have seen and heard the spirit of a little girl with long hair. The ghostly girl has been seen playing the piano and has even been known to tell people that she wants to go home.

We spent two nights the first weekend in October 2019. Wonderful, beautiful house. Trish was a gracious host. The weather was chilly and windy both days. Both my friend and I did not sleep well both nights in the house. Not sure why, but we were awake on and off all night. The second night we were awakened by a rattling of our room door knob. You could hear the knob being turned back and forth dozens of times and we expected the door to be opened at any moment. One of us remarked "wouldn't it be freaky if the house was haunted" Tonight while looking online to see if the house had a Facebook page, I found the house and a link to "Michigan Haunted Houses" that showed a pic of the B&B along with a small article stating the house was indeed haunted. Needless to say, I will not be staying here the next time we spend the night on the Island. I loved the house and everything it offered...with the exception of the doorknob rattling and the article about it being haunted.

I am not crazy. About twenty years ago I was staring at Bogan Lane Inn. I don't remember the room. But I remember the tv kept flickering. They put another tv on there that worked in another room and that kept flickering as well.
There also was this weird little girl about 11 or 12 who had a ratty Barbie Doll and told me that the Inn is haunted and that she was her friend.
I was watching Ghost Adventures and I was reminded of this but I couldn't remember the name of the place I stayed. Now I do
