Thelma Mertz is the ghost that is said to haunt this theater. A theater youth group reportedly thought up a story to explain her ghostly presence and they decided she was an actress who was dumped by her lover and committed suicide by jumping off the balcony. The ghost's true identity is unknown but her spirit enjoys playing the piano, walking across the stage, turning off all the lights, closing doors and occasionally showing up as an apparition.
