National House Inn
Marshall, MI 49068
This historic inn built in 1835 is said to be haunted by a Lady in Red. She is reportedly seen appearing at the window late at night as well as roaming the halls. In one of the guest room, this spirit insists on keeping the door closed. It is not certain who this woman is, but there are reports that she can still be sighted today.
The historic inn was built and used as a railraol hotel. In 1878 it turned into a factory that manufactured wind mills and farm wagons. Then in 1902 it functioned as luxury apartments. It wasn't until Norm and Kathryn Kinney purchased the home in 1976 that it then turned into a bed and breakfast.
