What a great haunt!

We have come every year it has been open and it has always been a great time!! It is well laid out & everyone is friiendly. It is dark in the forest and creepy, but not so much so that kids could not enjoy it. Definitely recommend. 👍

This place is exactly what a small town needs.

I LOVED it I recommend going just after complete dark while crowds are still coming in and the scare actors are still amped up unless you want a more chill experience go 10:00 or later you going to attend pay $20 to go through twice sign a waiver you must be 16 or older to go with out permission/a parent you have the option to go through a small maze on your way to wait for either the school bus or hayride to pick you up you go through the house first then through the woods it's not pee your pants scary little kids are definitely not going to love this though unless they're particularly tough there are two things that spray water at you once In the first maze and once in the house I 100% recommend

This is a great attraction. The haunting goes from an inside environment, to outside, back to outside, and then back inside as you weave between the haunts. You never knew when this chilling adventure was going ti come to an end. Scary characters come out of nowhere to terrorize you! The animatronics were first class and the decorations were spooky.

Completely impressed! Loved everything about this

This was an overall amazing experience. Starting with the bus ride, to the haunted house, followed by the trails. What an amazing experience. I’ve been to a few others and this was by far my favorite. This will be an annual event for me and the family. I want to also share the staff are so kind and helpful. I even had the opportunity to talk with a few of the actors and could see how passionate they are about making this a great experience. Highly recommended!!

They have great props

They have potential to be amazing the cause and staff are phenomenal! For new comers and new to the haunted house world it would be very scary !! We would love to see more scare actors that would help to make for a more effective scare experience!! Thank you to the wonderful people hosting it!!

So much fun!

We arrived right at open and were pleasantly surprised by the depth of this haunt! Got a chance to talk to the owner and found out that the haunt involves buildings from the 1800s which adds extra spookiness. I loved the course of this haunt that involves outdoor and indoor events, ultimately a super unique experience!Highly recommend! Will be coming back next year with more of my family!

Best haunt in northern michigan

Creepy hay ride just to get you to the haunt. One of the best find your way out haunted houses ever. Ending with a 1/4 mile hike through the actual swamp, full of horrific and terrifying ghouls.

Eh at best

Was expecting a lot more jump scares especially with all the hype about it being number 2 in the state. Was very underwhelmed. We had fun but I was basically a hike through the woods with 2 actors who were mediocre at best. The animatronics were neat but they have been overused by many others.

Decaying Swamp is Awesome!

Decaying Swamp’s use of indoor and outdoor gives it the most variety out of any haunted house I’ve experienced. Along with the friendly staff, I highly recommend it for any fan of haunted houses and seems to grow bigger each year.It also provides way more of a full-night experience than your standard haunted house. While they sell snacks and beverages, I recommend adding shirts to their items for sale.The only complaint (which is not about them) is that I wish it received more foot traffic.

Worth it!!

From Traverse City to Wolverine, MI definitely worth the drive. The friendly staff to the different experiences throughout the haunt left us screaming. The chainsaws definitely were a bit frightening. Wonka, he was a blast. The cost was worth the experience. Can’t forget the wicked wiener (IFKYK). Will come back again next year to see how it changes. Thanks!

The best attraction in Michigan

I've been to a few haunted houses in Michigan but genuinely I loved this place im definitely coming back my favorite part was the girl in the maze she got us like 4 times and the chainsaw man was amazing

My adult sister pissed herself

Michigan Dog Man

Look forward to hearing about the future upcoming events! It was a great Michigan haunt for 2024Great outdoor effects. Would love more thrill during that. That log cabin would be great to have as another scare scream.

Terrifying and fun to be out alive

This trail is fantastic! There is so much to see and the actors have some scary laughs. I went with my 13 year old son and his friends. I found myself genuinely scared and laughing at them at the same time.

The decaying swamp/

What a great haunt!! We took the family and what a great we had a option for a second time around and it was such a great time we went again. The second trip was so worth it. We got to take in all the decorations and details in all of the setup. Some things we missed the first time due to the jump scares. All in all I give it a 5 pumpkin rating.. I will be recommending to all friend and family.

not as good as last year

$25 per person for about 20 minutes of attraction is a bit steep. The swamp portion wasn't as good as last year, seems they have a shortage of actors and less lighting/special effects.. .Didn't have as much of a creepiness to it as last year
