This lighthouse today stands as a museum. It turned into a museum in 1990, but for those looking for a haunt, you can find that here too. Local legend has it that the former lighthouse keeper's wife went insane here after she was kept locked in the tower. Some say you can hear her screams at night. The other legend has it that a man by the name of George Parris continues to haunt the lighthouse. He was a caretaker and guide for the lighthouse when it turned into a museum, but died of a heart attack in 1992. His wife Lorraine reported of the light being on in the lighthouse, but wiring was disconnected years before. Story has it that the lights would come on every day at dusk and would turn off at dawn, but no one knows how it happens. There's even been a young girl who has reportedly seen the apparition of George Parris. She was able to recognize him in a photo even through she didn't know of him.
