Azra Chamber of Horrors Haunted House

First haunted house I've ever done and apparently I picked a bad one to start with because now everything else has a lot to live up to. Terrifying!

This place is ridiculous. You're looking at the walls and then realize there's something happening on the floor or above your head. It's nonstop. My friend spent the entire drive there saying she wasn't scared and then attached herself to my arm. She's still here by my side, I think we're going to have to move in together.

The actors didn't just yell at us either. They actually played with the group and reacted to what we were doing. Less predictable and made it feel more immersive than the ordinary walk through haunted house.

Really wanted to like this more than I did. We waited forever and the music outside was so loud that my group basically stopped talking to each other. We hoped it would get better once we went inside.

I think we were inside for 10 minutes. Some rooms were cool, but others looked unfinished or just didn't have anything happening. We literally walked into one area and there wasn't an actor there. Just us standing there like what is happening?

It's frustrating cause there's clearly a lot of effort going into the event, but for the price and the wait it didn't deliver for us.

Was visiting Michigan and this was a random stop that turned into probably the best thing we did on the trip. I didn't realize how big it was. There are a ton of rooms, live music, and the actors looked happy to be there and scaring the hell out of everyone. The walk-through takes a while and that's great. We've all been at haunts that felt like a hallway with four jump scares and then suddenly you're standing outside again. Didn't have that problem here. Felt like I got my money's worth.

I've done several of the other big Michigan haunts, so I wasn't expecting Azra to blow me away. It didn't...but it was still fun.

The place is huge. And the rooms actually feel different from each other instead of just changing the wallpaper every 30 seconds. A couple actors were genuinely funny with us without turning it into a comedy show. And the 3D room is a trip. Go earlier in the night to avoid the massive lines.

Hadn't been back in a couple years. Definitely noticed some changes.

There are new rooms, some of the older stuff has been changed around, and the outside setup is better than I remember. Heated line? ARE YOU KIDDING? YES. It was FREEZING and we were nice and toasty.

Inside was the usual nightmare, except apparently one actor decided I was his personal project. 3 times in the same hallway. I saw him the first 2. Still got me the third.

Saturday night with friends. The wait was long and honestly part of the fun because they had a DJ and performers going the whole time. Once you get inside, though, it gets pretty chaotic. Lots of different rooms and stuff happening where you aren't expecting it. The 3D part messed with me more than I want to admit. Also appreciated that the actors worked their way through the whole group instead of ignoring everyone except the first person. Definitely going again.

My teenagers are now obsessed with this place. They went inside and came out yelling about half the rooms.

Staff was friendly and the whole thing felt organized. Good family outing if your kids are into being scared.

This is the second year for me and my son and we made new friends this year as it was their first time attending!! Love the show while waiting and like the selfie booth. Onlybthingvinwould change is some parts are really dark and you can’t see where you’re going, maybe add a few floor lights just to be able to navigate the maze to get through Z

I saw AZRA on channel 4 news- the clown (Shawn) looked amazing so we decided to come here instead of going to ELOISE. This place did not disappoint! I was terrified more by the actors than anything else- they added a certain haunting element that I’ve been missing in other scare factories. 10 out of 10!! I do recommend! Go see Shawn!!
